The UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe Art Lottery
❤ We did it. All 25,000 tickets of our art lottery "HEART - 100 Artists. 1 Mission"- worth 1,000,000 Euro - have been sold. ❤
This is a great sign of solidarity with the almost 80 million people, who are forced to flee their homes worldwide. We would like to thank the 100 participating artists, all of our supporters and especially the lottery participants very much!
It was our goal to raffle off 100 unique works of art and to mobilize support for the worldwide, life-saving missions of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) at the same time. With the sale of the last ticket, this state-approved art lottery, which has been running since February 2020, has now reached a fantastic end!
Due to Covid restrictions, no official, in-person event to pick the winners was possible. The drawing of the winning lottery tickets took place on November 26th 2020 between 7.30pm an 9pm (MEZ) via livestream on our website. You find the video of this event now hereafter:

Since its foundation in Bonn in August 1980, the organisation has been committed to providing financial support for UNHCR's worldwide life-saving operations and for projects and initiatives of refugees in Germany. 2020 - for 40 years we stand #withrefugees:
As UNHCR's national partner, UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe is constantly fighting to raise awareness of refugee needs worldwide. In order to increase awareness during this special year, our 40th year in operation, we have planned and organized several cultural events.
Unfortunately, most of the events needed to be cancelled due to the corona pandemic, but we are working hard to ensure that all missed events will take place in 2021.
Affected events include the concert in Berlin by the very well-known Argentinian-Israeli pianist, Daniel Borenboim, and the collaboration with the Bochumer Schauspielhaus Theater which will host „An evening for UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe“ supported by its famous director, Johan Simons.
